Yorkshire Ambulance Services Ancillary Services Team are in the fortunate position of having secured additional cleaning capacity from April 2017.

To meet our expanded capacity requirements we are now able to offer further opportunities to join the Yorkshire Ambulance Service team in Site station and Mobile vehicle cleaning roles throughout the Yorkshire Area.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Vehicle Cleaner based at our Hoyland Ambulance Station.

Duties to include:

To undertake cleaning, decontamination and other associated tasks so as to meet the high standards of cleanliness and Infection Prevention and Control measures required across our fleet. To ensure that all activities are performed in line with the Trust Cleaning Protocols, procedures and specific daily work schedules. Achieving and maintaining all required standards of cleanliness, Infection Prevention and Control across the organisation, including; The Deep Cleaning and General Vehicle Cleaning of the Yorkshire Ambulance Service Operational Vehicles, keeping the garage floors, wash points and other areas clean, ensuring adequate stocks of cleaning materials are maintained and recording all daily activities.

A DRIVING LICENCE WITH C1 CLASS IS ESSENTIAL - You will be required to confirm within your application that you hold a full C1 Category on your licence.

The working days and times for this post are: This is a 37.5 hour per week contract in which the working days and times are dependent upon current provision required. The current working days will be Monday to Wednesday 20:00hr to 06:00hr and Thursday 20:30hr to 06:00hr.
