An opportunity has arisen for two Health Record Clerks based within our Health Records Department in Sheffield. The posts will be for a 7 month fixed term contract and be subject to review after that period.

Duties to include:

Receiving delivery and processing of completed ambulance patient care records in line with departmental procedures which will include the sorting, scanning, verifying and disposal of records as and when required. Quality checking of data within the document management system on a daily basis and locating patient care records under the direction of the Health Records Team Leader. Undertaking general office duties as required e.g. answering telephones,photocopying, scanning and filing.

Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team are essential along with the production of timely and accurate work. Previous experience of working with document management systems is desirable although all relevant training will be given to the successful candidates of systems in use within the organisation.

The working days and times for these posts are: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 08.00 - 16.00 inclusive of a 30 minute unpaid meal break.
