Reporting to the Lead Paramedic for Clinical Development you will be responsible for implementation of the Clinical Leadership Framework (CLF) and the Newly Qualified Paramedic (NQP) programme, you will also be part of the delivery team key in facilitating the new clinically focussed, locally delivered resuscitation refresher for YAS clinicians, as well as Red Arrest Team (RAT) training programmes for Clinical Supervisors and paramedics.

Working within the Clinical Development Manager (CDM) and Clinical Manager Team you will ensure a clear line of communication between the clinical and operational directorates to assure the Trust of the delivery of the highest quality patient care and clinical excellence. You will be a local point of contact for clinical staff, offering advice on clinical development and clinical practice as well as facilitating drop in sessions and Continuous Professional Development to suit the requirements of the local staff group.

As a member of the Clinical Directorate you will be a visible role model for staff, demonstrating exceptional professional behaviours and consistently promoting the vision and values of the trust. You will engage in projects as required to support the work of the directorate in driving forward excellent clinical practice, this may include working closely with colleagues in the YAS Academy as well as the operations directorate.

You will mentor Clinical Supervisors within CBU, ensuring compliance with service/programme aims, policies and practice and develop and encourage a learning environment that will identify and provide opportunities for Clinical Supervisors to fulfil their role as determined by YAS.
